This retreat was created through a community-centered process. Guided by feedback from three surveys and a focus group, we shaped the timing, cost, and experiences to align with what people most longed for. It’s a retreat designed with the community, not just for it.

Together, we will explore our sacred connection to wild nature and our wild selves.

We will greet the morning sun as it peeks over the mountains, gaze at the Milky Way as the stars fill the night sky, and spend our days wandering, reflecting, resting, journaling, sharing, creating, communing with wild nature, and envisioning our plan to stay connected to our wild souls after the retreat concludes.

Arrival Day

We’ll gather in the late afternoon to settle in, explore the land, and meet one another. As the sun lowers, we’ll open our retreat with a welcome circle and an introduction to the wild beings who share this place. After dinner, you can relax under the stars, enjoy quiet conversation by the fire, or turn in early.

Meet Your Facilitators!

Hi, I’m Deb. I grew up in the mountains of Colorado, where long walks, changing seasons, and quiet time outdoors shaped who I am. For over 25 years, I’ve worked as an environmental educator, naturalist, and spiritual life coach, supporting people in reconnecting with themselves, the land, and what truly matters.

My work is grounded in the belief that we heal and find clarity through relationships with the natural world, with each other, and with ourselves. I love slow mornings, listening for birdsong, wandering without an agenda, and creating welcoming spaces where people can rest, reflect, and feel more at home in the living world. I’m really looking forward to sharing this time and place with you.

Hi! I’m Christina; owner, operator and founder of The Colorado Retreat Co. and co-owner of the Steel Horse. “I can’t emphasis enough how much I enjoyed the weekend.  It was very special and came at exactly the right time for me.  The location was not only beautiful and peaceful but it was soothing to my spirit.  I think I could have sat in the Aspen Grove for days listening to the leaves carrying their message of calm to my soul.  Our group was perfect, It will take awhile to process all the feelings that have come to me but I believe the most lasting that is in the forefront right now is gratitude.”
